About me
Hi, I’m Danni!
Born and raised in the Hunter Valley, Australia I have been living in New Zealand since 2016. I am a zookeeper and children’s picture book author with a passion for adventure.
I’ve completed Te Araroa -The Long Pathway, a 3000km thru-hike covering the full length of New Zealand, surveyed wildlife in Madagascar, survived the Kokoda Track of Papua New Guinea, summited Mt Kinabalu in Borneo, dived the crystal-clear coasts of Niue and tracked mountain gorilla in Uganda.
It’s safe to say that my passion for travel has taken me to some pretty epic corners of the globe. But no matter what far flung corner I’m exploring, my favourite part of travelling is not just seeing new places, but truly experiencing them! Hard won views, muddy trails, fabulous people and everything in between.
